DC-Services UK Future Vision

Scheduled programme for ledger evidence standardisation

This roadmap describes how Digital Claims Services Limited (DC-SERVICES) plans to extend its named-supervisor documentation framework over the next reporting cycles. The page is intended for compliance officers, fiduciaries and counsel who require a written statement of what the firm will and will not develop. Each item below corresponds to a specific deliverable inside the firm's institutional documentation programme and is reviewed under the same two-stage supervisory signoff applied to released client records.

Capture of layer-two and cross-chain positions

Asset positions increasingly sit across rollups, bridged representations and wrapped tokens rather than on a single base ledger. The roadmap defines how these positions are documented inside one Statement of Fact: the originating chain, the bridge or rollup contract, the wrapped representation, the recovery path on failure, and the block heights observed during the snapshot. Recording all four data points together prevents a common documentation gap, where a wrapped balance is recorded without the link back to its base-chain collateral.

Supervisory QA programme extensions

The supervisory QA function is the second stage of every release. The roadmap extends this function with documented sampling rules, a standing rejection register, and a defined turnaround window between production handover and supervisor signoff. The sampling rules specify which records must be opened in full by the supervisor and which are reviewed against summary controls. The rejection register records why a record was returned to production, which is used to update the methodology rather than retained as an internal-only artefact.

  • Written intake brief signed by the client
  • Conflicts screen and independence check
  • Defined deliverable list and retention envelope
01 · Module

Documented sampling rules

The proportion of full re-reviews per release class is written into the QA procedure.

02 · Module

Standing rejection register

Each returned record is logged with reason and remedial action.

03 · Module

Defined turnaround window

Time between production handover and supervisor signoff is recorded for each release.

04 · Module

Annual procedure review

The QA procedure itself is reviewed once per year against the rejection register.

Cross-jurisdictional documentation notes

The firm is incorporated in England and Wales and that does not change. The roadmap addresses how UK-prepared documentation is read in other jurisdictions when a client uses a Statement of Fact in a non-UK forum. The firm publishes jurisdictional notes that describe what the document is, what it is not, and the supervisory framework under which it was signed. These notes do not constitute legal advice; they are reference material a client's counsel can attach to a UK-prepared record when filed elsewhere.

  • Source hashing at intake
  • Role-based, time-bound access
  • Two-stage review before release
01 · Module

Jurisdictional notes

Short reference documents describing how a UK statement is structured for non-UK readers.

02 · Module

Single governing jurisdiction

All statements are produced under England and Wales governance; no foreign branches are added.

03 · Module

Counsel-facing language

Notes are written for the client's legal advisers, not for end users of the documentation.

04 · Module

No legal opinion

Notes describe document structure only; legal interpretation remains with the client's counsel.

03 · Section

Activities the firm will not adopt

The roadmap is also a public statement of exclusion. DC-SERVICES will not move into custody of client digital assets, will not execute trades, will not act as a recovery agent under a success fee, and will not provide legal, tax or investment advice. These exclusions are recorded so that prospective counterparties can verify the firm's posture before engagement, and so that internal proposals to enter these activities can be assessed against a written boundary rather than against custom.

01 · Module

No custody

The firm does not hold or control client assets, on-chain or off-chain.

02 · Module

No success fees

Fees are time and deliverable based; they are not linked to asset recovery outcomes.

03 · Module

No advice

Legal, tax and investment advice remain outside the firm's scope of work.

04 · Module

No transaction execution

The firm does not place trades or move client funds between accounts.

How the roadmap is updated

The roadmap is reviewed twice per year by the firm's directors and the supervisory QA lead. Changes that affect a deliverable schema, a release procedure, or an exclusion are added to a dated change log on this page. Items completed during a review cycle are marked as released and linked to the relevant procedure or template. Items removed from the roadmap are retained in the change log with a short note explaining why the firm decided not to proceed, so that the decision is visible rather than silently dropped.

01 · Module

Twice-yearly review

Director and supervisory QA review of the roadmap occurs on a fixed half-year cycle.

02 · Module

Dated change log

Additions, completions and removals are recorded with date and reason.

03 · Module

Released items linked

Completed roadmap items link to the procedure or schema they produced.

04 · Module

Removed items retained

Items dropped from the roadmap remain visible in the change log with a written reason.

Questions clients ask about this page.

Short, factual answers stated in the same wording the firm uses in every scope letter, supervisory record and rejection-register entry.

Q01

What does Future Vision cover at DC-SERVICES UK?

This roadmap describes how Digital Claims Services Limited (DC-SERVICES) plans to extend its named-supervisor documentation framework over the next reporting cycles.

Q02

Does Digital Claims Services Limited hold client assets or execute transactions?

No. DC-SERVICES UK is non-custodial. The firm does not take possession of client assets, does not place trades, does not act as a fund administrator and does not move funds on behalf of any party.

Q03

Does DC-SERVICES UK provide investment, tax or legal advice?

No. The firm produces structured documentation only. Investment, tax and legal advice fall outside the permitted activities and are not offered on any page of this site.

Q04

Who signs off the work that is released?

Every record passes a two-stage supervisory signoff. Stage one verifies internal consistency and source coverage; stage two, performed by a named senior reviewer outside the originating team, confirms release readiness. Released records are sealed into the archive; any rework is logged in the rejection register and re-entered into stage one.

Q05

How are conflicts and independence handled before an engagement starts?

Each engagement begins with a written scope letter, a conflicts register check and an independence screen. Records that fail any check are not released externally; the failure is logged in the rejection register with a reason code.
